Roof Replacement, Spray Foam Removal and Loft Re-insulation in Reading

Countrywide Roofing & Insulation completed a combined roofing and insulation project in Reading, carrying out open-cell spray foam removal, replacing the roof covering and re-insulating the loft floor.

The photographs document the work inside and outside the property, including the exposed original roof underlay, the completed tiled roof and the re-insulated loft.

Addressing the foam and the existing roof

This project brought spray foam removal and roof replacement together within one scope of work.

The photographs show deterioration and openings in the original roof underlay, both from inside the loft and after the roof covering had been stripped back.

These images record the condition encountered during the project. They do not establish what caused the deterioration.

Removing the spray foam and renewing the roof

Our team removed the open-cell spray foam as part of the combined works and renewed the roof covering and underlay.

The external progress photograph shows the roof stripped back, exposing the old battens and underlay. The completed view shows the replacement tiled covering, with its red finish giving the roof a refreshed appearance.

Inside the loft, the new roof lining is visible between the rafters.

Re-insulating the loft floor

The project also included re-insulating the loft at floor level.

The completed internal photograph shows roll insulation across the loft floor, beneath the exposed rafters and renewed roof lining.

Combining these services allowed the foam removal, roofing work and replacement loft insulation to be addressed within the same project.

The property received a replacement tiled roof covering, renewed underlay and loft-floor re-insulation following the open-cell spray foam removal.
