A recent removal project
Open-cell removal, Ascot, Berkshire
Approximately 60m² of open-cell foam, applied to the roofing membrane, was removed from inside the loft. No roof removal was required. The loft was then re-insulated.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether I have open-cell or closed-cell foam?
An assessment identifies the foam type. Open-cell is generally softer and spongier, while closed-cell is firmer and more rigid. If you are unsure, ask us to arrange an assessment.
What documentation will I receive after removal?
You receive documentation recording the work carried out. We cannot promise how a lender, surveyor or insurer will respond, so please check the current position with your own lender or broker.
Do you also replace roofs?
Yes. We carry out complete roof replacements for ageing or damaged roofs, and roof replacement as part of closed-cell spray foam removal projects. The proposed work is assessed and clearly explained before anything is agreed.
Can new loft insulation be installed after the foam is removed?
Yes. Once the foam has been removed and the loft inspected, we can install new loft insulation if you would like it.
