Closed-Cell Spray Foam Removal and Roof Replacement in Oxford

Countrywide Roofing & Insulation completed a combined closed-cell spray foam removal, re-roofing and loft re-insulation project in Oxford.

The work involved stripping back the affected roof area, removing the foam installation, renewing the roof covering and underlay, and installing insulation at loft-floor level.

Stripping back the affected roof

The progress photograph shows the roof during stripping, with extensive closed-cell foam visible around the exposed battens.

This stage opened up the affected roof area so the foam removal and roofing work could be addressed together.

The project involved several roof slopes meeting at hip junctions, requiring the replacement covering to follow the existing roof shape.

Removing the foam and renewing the covering

Our team carried out the closed-cell foam removal as part of the re-roofing works and renewed the underlay and tiled covering across the agreed roof area.

The finished exterior photographs show grey interlocking tiles with matching hip tiles, giving the renewed roof a consistent appearance.

Inside the loft, the replacement roof lining is visible between the existing rafters.

Re-insulating the loft floor

The project also included loft-floor re-insulation following the foam removal and roofing work.

The completed internal photograph shows roll insulation across the loft floor beneath the renewed roof lining.

Bringing these services together allowed the roof covering and loft insulation to be addressed within the same project.
