Closed-Cell Removal and Roof Renewal at a Brick Gable in Reigate
Countrywide Roofing & Insulation removed closed-cell spray foam from roof slopes beside a prominent brick gable. The project combined opening the roof covering, exposing the timber frame and reinstating a consistent tiled surface above the property.
The roof underside before removal
The original foam covered the lining between the rafters near the ridge and around the larger supports. The brick gable remained visible, providing a clear reference for the installation inside the loft. Much of the roof underside was concealed by the foam before removal.
Exposing the roof frame
The roof was opened from outside, revealing the rafters, chimney area and loft below. Foam fragments remained in the work area during stripping as the installation was taken out. This stage exposed the structure ahead of the replacement roof layers.
Reinstating the tiled covering
The later photographs show the tiled slope reinstated along the gable edge and across the scaffolded property. Some roof-edge materials remained visible while finishing work continued. The sequence records the main transformation: closed-cell foam removed from within the assembly and the external tiled covering rebuilt above it.
