Closed-Cell Removal Across a Multi-Slope Roof in Guildford
Countrywide Roofing & Insulation undertook closed-cell spray foam removal as part of a substantial roof renewal across several adjoining slopes. Multiple chimneys and changes in roof direction gave this project a more involved layout than a single straight roof pitch.

Working across the roof layout
The original foam concealed much of the lining between the roof timbers. Extensive scaffolding provided access around the property, allowing the roof covering to be opened from outside. The work followed the different slopes and their junctions as the installation was exposed.
Opening up the loft roof
Removing the foam and opening the roof revealed the timber layout within the loft. The internal progress view records that frame beneath the replacement red underlay. It shows the transition from a continuous foam-lined surface to individual rafters and supports visible across the roof space.
Rebuilding beneath the tiles
Fresh underlay and battens were installed across the roof slopes, with tiles laid out during reinstatement. Coordinating these stages was central to the project: removal inside the roof assembly and rebuilding outside formed one sequence of work. The supplied record follows that sequence through to the tile reinstatement stage.
