Closed-Cell Removal Around Front Gables and Chimneys in Tunbridge Wells
This closed-cell spray foam removal project involved a roof with prominent front gables and chimney details. Countrywide Roofing & Insulation opened the covering, removed the installation and reinstated roofing around a layout interrupted by several changes in shape.

The roof before stripping
Inside the loft, foam covered the roof slope beside the brickwork and existing services. Much of the lining between the rafters was concealed. The work began with that installation in place and progressed to an opened roof frame accessed from the scaffolding outside.
Removing the roof covering and foam
Stripping the covering exposed the rafters from above and allowed the removal to proceed across the roof area. The gables were an important part of the layout, with the roofing work following their adjoining slopes and junctions. The wider scaffolded view places that work in context.
Restoring the tiled appearance
The later roof detail shows the tiled surface beside a chimney and front gable. This project is distinctive for the shape of the roof as well as the foam removal itself. The recorded sequence connects the original concealed underside, the exposed timber frame and the reinstated tiled appearance.
