Closed-Cell Foam Removal with Roof Underlay Renewal in Chichester
Countrywide Roofing & Insulation removed closed-cell spray foam while renewing roof layers beneath the tiled covering. The project is recorded from inside the loft and from the opened roof, providing a clear view of how the removal and roofing work fitted together.

The original foam-covered roof
Before removal, foam extended across the sloping roof and around the larger timber supports. It concealed the lining between the rafters, creating a continuous surface above the loft. The brick gable and the long run of timbers defined the area being worked on.
Opening the roof from outside
Opening the covering exposed the roof frame from outside. Replacement red underlay and battens were installed as the roofing work progressed across the adjoining area. Coordinating these stages brought the foam removal and roof renewal into the same operation.
Exposing the roof underside again
The later loft view shows the rafters and dark roof lining exposed above the existing quilt insulation. The main foam layer no longer covers the photographed slope, making the individual roof bays visible again. That internal change is the key outcome recorded alongside the exterior underlay work.
