Open-Cell Foam Removal Around Roof Supports in Gloucester
This project involved open-cell foam covering the roof slopes and extending around substantial timber supports. Existing ductwork and insulation occupied parts of the loft floor beneath the installation.
Countrywide Roofing & Insulation removed the foam coverage from the roof sections, exposing the underlying lining and making the timber arrangement easier to see.

An uneven installation around the framework
The before photographs show pronounced foam projections between the rafters and around the larger timbers. The installation followed the roof shape, including the upper junction of the slopes.
The removal work needed to follow those changing angles and the spaces behind the supports, rather than treating the loft as one unobstructed surface.
Working above existing services
The floor-level photographs show flexible ductwork beneath the roof structure. Those services formed part of the working environment while the foam was removed above them.
The after views retain useful context: they show the roof supports, lining and floor area together, so the result can be understood across more than one section of the loft.
Roof surfaces visible again
The substantial foam coverage seen before the work is no longer present across the photographed roof slopes. The lining is visible between the rafters, with some light residue apparent on adjoining surfaces.
The wider after photographs show how the individual roof sections relate to the main supports and services below. They provide a clear view of the removal within the actual loft layout.
